Dr. Renard

Dr. Renard Macasaet’s journey in dentistry began in the Philippines, where he earned his dental degree before trading in tropical heat for the snowy winters of Buffalo, New York, at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Now settled in California, he brings a mix of skill, compassion, and just the right amount of humor to keep dental visits as stress free as possible. He believes in making patients feel comfortable, whether that means explaining procedures in detail or cracking a well-timed dad joke (results may vary).

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Macasaet is all about family and the great outdoors. He and his wife are navigating life as new parents to their baby boy, who, despite his tiny size, already runs the household. When he’s not at the office, you’ll likely find him hiking, snowboarding, working out, or perfecting the art of the baby swaddle. He’s excited to be part of the Tahoe dental community and looks forward to helping patients achieve their best smiles, one appointment at a time.
